My Very First Experience at #BeeChoo Origins

Hi guys!
It's been the longest time since I've last blogged
Haven't actually got the time to and probably got lazy (bad excuse i know)
But yeah I'm backkkk
I am not sure who would read this now since I've disappeared forever
HAHA but i'm just going to proceed to blog about my experience at
BeeChoo Origins!
(This is not paid btw)
I decided to post about this as many of you asked me about the hair treatment at this salon

For those of you who don't know what Bee Choo Origins is, here is a short/brief introduction

Yup, so as you can tell, this salon specializes in hair treatment and care for women with so scalp problems.
They use herbal ingredients to treat the scalp, so its chemical free :)
For myself, i realised my hair is kind of thinning and I actually didn't notice it until my best friend told me that I should change my parting.
Although a change of parting does help, I was still concerned with that hairline and I couldn't stop obsessing over treatments

It is becoming more common these days for women to drop more hair due to the chemicals that our scalp have been exposed to e.g. Hair dyes, curling/perms, rebonding, etc.
For someone who has had really long hair all her entire life and not forgetting the fact that I've been doing all sorts of stuff to my hair e.g.dye, perm, etc. since the age of 15, the weight of my hair + long history of damage makes me more susceptible
Also, I tend to curl my hair with a heated straightener almost everyday before going out..
So as you can tell, I am not the most attentive or caring person when it comes to my own scalp
I decided to try out Bee Choo Hair Origins as the reviews for it are really good!
Also, I didn't think twice because of its affordable pricing!
Fyi, $69 is for long hair regardless of the length
hence if you have hair all the way to your butt, its still 69 woooo

Okay so anyways, I made an appointment online and my chosen outlet was at Pahang Street

This is around Bugis/Haji Lane area, and it may be quite difficult to find so be sure to use gps!!
The setting in the salon was quite nice and cosy
hi
Before proceeding to the treatment, the staff explained about how the treatment is like and what is does
This is something i really like but then again.. who doesnt right??
she applied/sprayed on some oil/sreum on my head and massaged it
its actually super nice to get a head massage???
I was enjoying every bit of it
I think this is to improve the circulation or smth
After applying, they take this herbal mix and apply it on your hair
Its really like how it is at salons when you dye your hair, just that this one is a treatment
The herbal smell is strong so I am not sure if people are okay with it
but for myself, i think it was bearable!
Some people actually do like the smell so to each its own :)
Note: the herbal smell lasts for around 3-4 days for me
They also explained  that they have 2 types of mix, both has the same herbal ingredients
just that 1 of them will actually turn your hair colour to be a little copperish
but no fear, if you have dark hair i think it's just a slight tinge of reddish/copperish colour
If you don't like that, then opt for the dark coloured one
where you get to maintain your original dark hair colour
i am not sure if the dark one will change a person's hair colour drastically if her hair is light
but i would think so...?
so before you do this treatment, do make sure that you are ok with this!!
Yup so after applying this on your head
they will actually place a steamer thing over your head
for around 1-1.5h
 HAHA
If you have short attention span... it may be quite torturous for you
but it will be worth it - for a healthier scalp!!
Just make sure that you bring stuff for you to kill time
A book, or play games on your phone.... etc
either that or you can convince a friend to do it with you
and you can talk to each other until time flies by
(it works)
for me, i went alone so i just played my games... it worked for me
but i still got fidgety
Hahahahaha my attention span is very short
After the whole thing, its time for the hair wash!!
I love hair washes cuz it really makes me feel like a princess......... er
HAHAHAHHA but its nice cuz they massage your scalp and you feel pampered keke
they will then blow your hair dry after
Note: it is not completely blown dry so don't expect it to be!!
Also they will not style your hair for you after like hair salons
I read online that it's actually normal for you to leave with damp hair so take note!!
My hair feels stronger tbh but i can't actually see drastic effects since its just one session
but i will go back again! Esp since its affordable too :)
So this is my hair after
Idk if you guys can tell but it is more copper-ish now (!!!!)

Other things to note:
Like all hair dyes, there will be colour running from your hair when you wash it
It's been 5 days after the treatment and i still notice some brown colour running
So maybe after the treatment, try to use dark coloured towels and wear dark coloured shirts!
You REALLY don't want to stain your things!!!
ok that's the end of my post
x
