Starting from bkk, then starring then random highlights altogether
in different posts though hahahaha hopefully i don't take too long to do the other two posts
Yeah I'm really trying my best to update my blog so here goes!
BKK
The flight was at 830am
Super early right.. omg was so afraid that i wouldn't be able to wake uppp
but anyway!
Really thankful for the boy :)
He woke up super early just to pick me up from home to send me to the airport despite his lack of sleep.
Could tell that he was super sleepy when i saw him in the morning

Okay so touched down in bkk, checked in to our hotel at Baiyoke Sky
And got a free upgrade to a junior suite yay!
Very hapz hahahaha
Then headed down to get lunch along the roadside cuz we were all starving
Seafood Suki
Omelette
Phad thai
our first meal in Bangkok!
Had suki!!! Hehe
I swear it was really yummy, i think thats like my fav so far
hahahaha but well maybe cuz I'm a v picky eater..
but still, it IS really good
If you love spicy stuff, you should really try suki :)
Went to siam paragon after lunch
Really nice place though
but not somewhere you'd wanna shop
(esp for budget ppl like me HAHA)
but it is undoubtedly a nice place tho :)
Did some grocery shopping
Taokaenoi seaweed in bkk is INSANELY cheap btw, its like $1 for a packet?
As compared to like sg's $3 +, thats like WOW ahahaha
just spam la, throw 10000 pkts into the trolley lezgo
hahaha okay just kidding but really, most of the things here are much cheaper than that of sg.
SADLY cereals here are pretty expensive........ lol so is sashimi HAHA
okay, after that we went to shop at Siam night market!
Our very first shopping for the day
Didn't think we were gonna shop a lot on the first day esp since we only started shopping around 8
But we proved ourselves wrong...

lol hahaha got some really nice stuff, although i wouldn't deny that i got some items on impulse
but I'm more or less satisfied w my items!
Day 2
We spent the entire day at platinum mall
Had lunch at this jap restaurant upstairs!
Jap food isn't cheaper here though, sadly.
But the food was pretty good!
We kinda ordered too much tho.. cuz before that we were starving HAHA
So we just whack the menu and ended up leaving the entire bento almost untouched ahaha oops
Spent the rest of the afternoon walking the entire mall except for level 2!
we didn't have enough time :'(
But thank god for stacey really, van really made a wise decision by buying her
Hahahah this is stacey
She saved us from all our shopping bags at platinum man, really
Hahahaha anyway i would say that shopping at platinum was pretty good,
but it's kinda pricier now as compared to the last time i went
which was like a yr ago? yeah, could probably get cheaper things at night markets!
But platinum IS undoubtedly one of the must go places if you wanna shop!
Went down to MBS after to get products from Beauty Buffet!
Their milk bath and all smells SUPER good mm hehe
Spent more than i thought i would there, couldn't resist their lipsticks too

Headed back to the hotel cuz the food place in mbs was closed
So we got street food for dinner/supper instead!
Seafood salad hehe omg ultimate favvvv
I still rmb eating this everyday last yr.
Same for this yr!!! I crave for it all the time
Super spicy and cheap and damn shiok!!!
okay the thought of it right now is making me hungry.. not kidding... hahaaha
Day 3
Went to Union Mall to shop hehe yes. yet another shopping spree hehe
Union mall is pretty far though
Apparently not many drivers know how to get there exactly cuz they haven't heard of it.....
so, yeah. We got kinda lost at first cuz we got dropped off at a wrong mall lulzzz
Anyway if you wanna get there, its pretty near chatuchak
so maybe you could use that to direct the driver or smth haha
So we got there and it was WOOHOO
Shopping heaven ahhahahahaha
its slightly cheaper in general like their items, cuz its more of a place for local students
they all come here to shop and all
haha and the clothes were pretty nice too!
Really loved the denim shorts from this place 'Just the way you are'
the cuttings are really good- it's hard to find nice denim shorts in bkk i feel
i don't mean like nice as in design but cutting hahaha
yeah, would definitely go back there if i ever go back to bangkok again!
Which is MOST LIKELY since i love shopping in bkk so much ^^
When we finally decided to leave union mall,
IT STARTED TO RAIN!!
Hahahhahaha omg it was really an epic experience.
Walked in the rain to the main road to get a cab but it was just freaking hard to get one!
Not sure why, hahahahahaha finally saw one vacant cab
and van screamed like 'valen go!!!!'
and somehow i just DASHED towards to cab
and jumped over the step and landed on a huge puddle
HAHAHHAHA omg it was damn funny
shit. The amount of water collected in my shoes was simply....
Hahahahaha what abundance
okay will nv forget that moment its really super super hilarious
Oh yaaa, we also went to chinatown for dinner!
Ate at T&K SEAFOOD cuz Jasmine said they had really good seafood there
Didn't order much tho; just steamed fish and tomyum soup!
Yeah but the food was really yummy, like it didn't disappoint us at all
So glad to have eaten there, would def go back there if i go to bkk again!
Also, had birds nest for dessert :)
Hahahhaa got back to the hotel, nua-ed for awhile
then prepared to go to club woohoo
Took a tuktuk (for the first time in my life!!!!) to RCA
Hahahahahhaa omg it's damn fun!?!?!
But bad idea to wear my flower headband while sitting on the tuktuk..
had to use one hand to hold on the my headwear the whole time
hahahahahahaha okay but other than that,
and the fact that it is undoubtedly quite dangerous- since there aren't seat belts or anyth
and you can fly off anytime if you're not careful..
ITS AWESOME!!
Hahahahahha ok so that was my one and only tuktuk experience

Went to Route 66, didn't manage to get in last yr
cuz their legal clubbing age was like 21??
But anyway i think they changed it to 20
so yay JUST NICE

pretty hapz but ppl don't really dance
I think thais in general don't dance as much
Hahaha so yeah you can easily tell who are the non-locals in the club
hahahahaha but anyway i need to say this..
THE TOILET IN ROUTE66 IS FREAKING NICE
hahahaha seriously, its huge
And like damn cosy, w waiting area w nicely cushioned seats and all in the toilet

Day 4
TRIED TO wake up early for chatuchak
but we didn't manage to leave the hotel at our desired timing hahaha
We weren't late either hahhaha
had lunch and then continued our shopping spree!!!
Brought our beloved stacey along hahahhaaha
she is a treasure, i swear
the weather was crazy hot, like insaneeeee
LOOK AT THAT
but other than that, it was great
like we managed to get quite a number of nice items :) hehe
Felt super tired after walking around the entire day
so we decided to go back to the hotel to rest!!
And then have a lil fun w the cam.. hehe
Girls will be girls :)
AND THEN got ready for safehouse
Safehouse was great, like better music, better atmosphere, i really liked it!
Like i prefer it over route 66 too hahahaha
If you're gg to bkk and you're intending to party, go to safehouse ^^
Day 5
Went to chatuchak again but this time we only got there at around 5??
Hahah but yeah they actually had a night market here!
Like i never knew, or heard about chatuchak night market before..
(Mountain tortoise????)

Hahaha van as usual hahahahaha too cute
Super cute!?!?! omgggggggg
After shopping for a bit we decided to go to Khaosan!
Heard about the hair braiding and stuff and really wanted to check it out :)
Did some really pretty hair braid thing for like around 100-150 baht each :)
I think its worth it actually, i really liked the braids hahahah

we also bought some really pretty fairy lights
(which we used as our props for our midnight photoshoot later.. LOL)
Khao san is quite happening la, like it kinda reminds me of holland v idk why
hahahaha like the pub area only though
loads of bag packers go there and they usually stay around the area to chill and drink etc
Headed back to the hotel after
Had no energy to party again, or actually i think it was just me

Spent the rest of the night (or should i say morning) taking pics..

I later got a little too restless and decided to turn in earlier than expected
(i think it was around 3 or 4am when i did)

Day 6
Made extra effort to drag ourselves out of bed to do the last bit of shopping for the trip
shopped at pratunam then platinum mall
then to union mall for a short while
Us everywhere
and then back to the hotel!
and guess how we spent our last night in bangkok?
Yes.. i think you guessed it
HAHAHA
We partied like its the end of the world~~
I was actually super duper shag like really
can collapse and sleep while standing kinda shag hahahaha narcolepsy
But still, decided not to waste our last night away so
HELLO SAFEHOUSE
hahahahah
Got there, it was really empty... yeah it was a monday night
but clubs were still opened hahaha i think it was too early or smth
Went back to the hotel cuz we didn't have enough cash on hand at the moment
and we wanted to open a bottle hahaha
but then by the time we got back, we got a little restless
then we decided... ok la lets not club
so i knocked out on the bed..
and suddenly in the middle of my sleep
i felt myself shaking....
then there were like noise
HAHA ok no its not earthquake or smth
van and jasmine woke me up to go back to the club
HAHAHAHAHHA omg so funny
went to the club in a half conscious state
but perked up immediately, after some alcohol and music hahaha
i really like safe house (other than the smoking in clubs part)
hahaahaha after safehouse,
we headed to WIP,
then SPICY which was near our hotel (baiyoke sky)
like 5min drive away? Hahaha yeah
there are more tourists/non-locals at spicy
like its more for people who loves to dance when they party hahahha
so yeah, less locals!
ok but it closed RIGHT AFTER WE ENTERED AND GOT A DRINK
so we went to another clubbb
and partied all the way to 8am in the morning
omg ahahahaha i really felt like i was gg to faint
HAHAHA damn tired
but nevertheless SO MUCH FUN
we made a new friend there too hehe
Didn't go back straight to the hotel after tho
we actually waited outside this bag shop to collect our bags we bought the day before HAHA
got them to keep it for us cuz they were too bulky and heavy
and we had a lot of shopping to do hahahhaha
so yeah we bought like i think close to 20 bags in total?
Super cheap and pretty
how to resist????? I definitely can't... bought like 10 bags this trip
hahahahahha
Day 7
Got back to the hotel.
showered and stuff and slept at 11am ahahha omg
we had to pay extra charges because we called for an extension for our checkout time
there was no way i could wake up in 1.5h ....
hahahah and we barely packed anything
hahhaahahahha everytime we shop, we would just take out our loots from stacey
and throw it everywhere at this part where we have all our items placed
super hilarious hahahaha our room was super messy
(we did not call room svc for 7 days hahahahhaaha)
we had too many things and we felt that its better to just not take any risks..
HAHAH so yeah, garbage room hahahahaaha
its really funny
unfortunately, i did not take any pics of our room in such state HAHA
however, jasmine took an instavideo of it LOL

okay so after we settled all the packing and all
we got to the airport and had some trouble trying to settle our baggage...
and i swear the lady at the airport was being very nasty
like two of them.. we were so pissed
it was so obvious they were deliberately making things difficult
like they were actually trying to make us miss our flight by delaying time
oh god, i will nv forget
BAD BAD SERVICE
but anyway we ran like some mad dog to the terminal
and jasmine and i lost van halfway cuz she left her bag at the check in counter or smth
and had to go back to get it
okay so we had a panic attack for awhile
went to the info counter and asked them to announce for van hahahahaha
Had quite a hard time trying to get them to cuz we had some communication barrier..
lol hahah ok but yeah they did announce in the end
but they pronounced her name in a super strange way
so.. lol ok.
So has and i decided to like just run to the terminal first
and have one of us to stay there and one to go back to find van
(did i mention our terminal was close to the end)
hahahaahha so yeah it was reaaaally tiring
also because our bags were so heavy omg
hahahahaha fortunately!!!! Van found us while we were both running to the terminal
and joined us in the amazing race
Hahahahaha ok but i swear that was damn damn tiring and scary
hahaha ok so glad we did not miss our flight!
Touched down at around 130am
and thank you bbbbb for picking me up

Like i got to know them much better esp after spending such quality time tgt :)
